Marie Ng is widely recognized for her talents in the practice areas of municipal liability and premises hazards. A multi-faceted and extremely accomplished trial attorney, she has brought to the Firm years of invaluable trial skill and training with the nation's largest municipal law office - New York City Law Department Office of The Corporation Counsel. That knowledge has placed Marie Ng in the forefront of those attorneys involved in such a specialized area of litigation, and her colleagues in the legal community frequently seek her out for her advice.  Through her tireless efforts, and the total commitment she gives to each case, Ms. Ng has brought numerous million-dollar settlements and verdicts to her clients in such diverse practice areas as construction site accidents, police and fire-related accidents and medical malpractice. She successfully prosecuted and obtained $1.75 million for her client who, after being the victim of a car accident, became partially paralyzed as a result of a hospital's malpractice in failing to perform a necessary emergency procedure, and $1.5 million for a child who suffered scalding burns in an apartment bathroom due to the improper regulation of the building's hot water system. Marie has also been named in Super Lawyers  magazine as one of the top lawyers in New York, and she has received the highest rating (AV®) from Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings.* A 1977 Brooklyn Law School graduate, Marie Ng joined the Firm in 1988 and became a Member in 1992. She is in charge of one of the Firm's General Negligence departments. Ms. Ng has been active in continuing legal education programs, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
