62-Year-Old Woman Suffers Injuries After Serious Automotive Collision
The plaintiff, a 62-year-old female, was a front-seat passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a T-bone collision. The plaintiff suffered multiple fractured ribs and a fractured sternum. It was alleged that the severe blunt force trauma caused the plaintiff to develop acute traumatic cardiomyopathy, resulting in a severely reduced ejection fraction that required cardiac catheterization and subsequent implantation of ICD/pacemaker.
