Senior Partner Nick Papain Mentioned on FOX News Regarding VCF Deadline

Many people do not realize that registering with the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP) and the Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) are separate processes. Experienced VCF lawyer, Nick Papain, recently mentioned on FOX News that he is getting calls from “clients – first responders in particular – who were certified for a particular illness more than two years ago and… didn’t realize that the register for the [VCF] is separate and apart from enrolling in the [WTCHP].”
Today marks the last day that families of 9/11 survivors who died before July 29, 2019, due to an illness resulting from their exposure to toxins at Ground Zero, as well as living survivors or first responders who have been diagnosed with an illness related to the attack and have been certified by the WTCHP, can register with the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund.
