On August 6th, 2020, Associate Beth N. Jablon obtained a $900,000 settlement for a woman who suffered multiple injuries in a T-bone collision in New York.  

62-Year-Old Woman Suffers Injuries After Serious Automotive Collision 

The plaintiff, a 62-year-old female, was a front-seat passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a T-bone collision. The plaintiff suffered multiple fractured ribs and a fractured sternum. It was alleged that the severe blunt force trauma caused the plaintiff to develop acute traumatic cardiomyopathy, resulting in a severely reduced ejection fraction that required cardiac catheterization and subsequent implantation of ICD/pacemaker.

Jablon represented the plaintiff in a New York Court and recovered a grand total of $900,00 in damages —$100,000 was recovered from the first defendant, $100,000 from the second defendant’s auto policy and $700,000 from the same defendant’s umbrella policy. The case settled at private mediation while awaiting trial.
