On July 27, 2022, in the Supreme Court of Suffolk County, SPBMCC Attorney Beth Jablon secured a $650,000 settlement for a man who slipped and fell in a supermarket.

45-Year-Old Man Slips in Supermarket

On Sept. 15, 2013, a supermarket employee was working at a bakery inside of a grocery store while an outside maintenance cleaning company cleaned the store. Due to the maintenance company’s negligence in warning people about recently cleaned, slippery floors, the supermarket employee slipped and fell.

The plaintiff sustained multiple injuries that required surgery, including a fractured collarbone and a torn rotator cuff.
